​​In the Summer of 2019, RSB partnered with the Estelle Program to conduct storytelling sessions with unhoused girls from transition and shelter homes in the Red Stick area. From May to September of 2019, in collaboration with and funding from Assisi House, we provided foster-age girls ages 11-17 a platform for storytelling, empowerment,  and narrative change. We focused on various modalities of storytelling, each suited to fit the participant's needs and interests.  We were able to work with the girls to shift the conversation from a deficient to an asset-rich space.
